The S400 features a 14" sunlight-readable, widescreen display for easy viewing in any lighting condition, and is available with Getac's optional glove-friendly, multi-touch technology. The S400 semi-rugged notebook is well equipped with a water-resistant keyboard with an option to upgrade to a backlit keyboard; an integrated webcam; and a Super Multi DVD drive. Connectivity features of the S400 include 802.11a/b/g/n wireless LAN. Integrated wireless options for the S400 rugged notebook include Bluetooth®, Gobi™ 2000 3G for multi-carrier wireless use, and a GPS receiver and antenna for mapping and navigation. Advanced security features on Getac S400 include a trusted platform module security chip (version 1.2), a fingerprint scanner, and a SmartCard reader.
