CircuitMaster 4000 m introduces Saelig active precision oscilloscope

CircuitMaster 4000 M active precision oscilloscope combines the power of a 100 MHz 10-bit DSO and a digital Voltmeter to 0.1%, with exclusive testing techniques to provide the multiple diagnostic capabilities in a single unit.  Designed to simplify the secure research of fine pitch PCB, CircuitMaster 4000 M is unlike any other oscilloscope (usually 8-bit devices), providing innovative test and measurement functions for the detailed analysis of the circuit.  With two analog input channels, as well as an external trigger, the CircuitMaster 4000 M also offers four digital inputs adjustable threshold for logic signals, making it useful for mixed signal applications. For multiple signal acquisition, a 40-channel connector is provided for use with IC or PCB connectors. This accessory can be used as double-channel 20 for comparison and signal acquisition in real time.

While the CircuitMaster 4000 M can operate as a conventional oscilloscope with standard features and measurements, its built-in accurate Voltmeter (0.1% 24-bit) provides an accurate reading of the voltage probed to display simultaneously the signal waveform.  Pedal makes sampling probe measurements easier and safer as well.

Other display options can provide useful signal analysis capabilities.

The unique CircuitMaster 4000 m Active Mode offers DC or AC signal outputs on the same channel used to measure an input signal.  This measures the active response from a test to a stimulus, detect circuit conditions not visible with conventional instruments. Alternatively, this mode can be used as a function generator to inject signals to a Board, with the second channel to be used to monitor the response in a different point in the circuit, checking the phase delay, for example.

Can be a challenge finding a short-circuit or an open circuit in a PCB powered-both return a 0V voltage with a voltmeter or oscilloscope. But with CircuitMaster 4000 m mode active, injecting a small DC signal to the circuit and measure the response gives the user a clear indication of the fault condition. With an open circuit (no current) voltage output of CircuitMaster 4000 M remains unchanged, but with a short circuit, the voltage will drop almost completely.  An additional capacity-the FirmFlex mode -provides the most useful information-it can assess the strength of a node, i.e. their ability to sink or source of current in a circuit properly.

The CircuitMaster 4000 m can quickly and easily perform analog signature analysis (or VI tests), a technique for investigating voltage-current characteristics of energized devices node. The resulting curve can indicate resistive, capacitive, inductive and semiconductor characteristics to detect flaws in a leaky diode components, for example, or to compare known good devices and suspicious. For additional fault detection capabilities, the CircuitMaster 4000 m scan mode can perform automatic tracking of the curve, showing the amplitude and phase for several variations of voltage and frequency.

The TestFlow Manager software provided allows users to create automated test sequences in a simple structure, step by step, personalized with photos, diagrams, instructions, PDF datasheets or Web material. A graphics option can also be used to guide the test procedures, allowing users to enter comments that will appear in a final report. The resources to save and share test data and procedures make CircuitMaster 4000 M useful for various seasons or geographic locations.

Made by ABI Electronics Ltd., a leading manufacturer of test equipment embedded, European CircuitMaster 4000 M is now available from Saelig Company, Inc. Fairport, NY.  For detailed specifications, free technical assistance or additional information, contact 1-888-Saelig 7SAELIG

Virtual bungee lost + found introduces innovative technology to facilitate the return of lost valuables

Never lost a mobile phone, keys, sunglasses, or a digital camera? Most of us have, and now there is a solution that anonymously facilitates the return of lost valuables safe and easy. Bungee Virtual Lost + Found (http://www.bungeetags.com), a new product that allows owners to anonymously link valuable properties to your cell phone and e-mail, has officially launched. If an element is found, the system is activated by the search engine by sending a simple text message and works immediately to the owner and the search engine in a living anonymous conversation so immediately recovery arrangements can be made.

In the case of a cell phone missing, Bungee also works through anonymous e-mail. All the user's personal information stays safe through Bungee. An entertaining video that describes the effectiveness of the Bungee can be found here: vimeo.com. To help raise additional funds for the growth of the team of Bungee has launched a campaign through Indiegogo (http://www.indiegogo.com/bungee).

"We've tried Bungee in all the United States even dropped a set of keys in Midtown Manhattan on the eve of new year and around 1 received a text message saying that they had found the keys of my and within minutes I had in my hand", said Bryan Davis, co-founder of the Bungee. "Bungee costs only $25 for coverage of life."  Thinking about it, throughout his life say you lose a $300 item and when it returned Bungee will have paid for itself 12 times. Not only in dollars, but in the time of recovery data, frustration... get the point."

So does the Bungee:

·       Once a consumer buys Bungee receive multiple Bungeetags that are in various sizes.  All tags contain a number of personal number/code.

·       Bungeetags are placed in valuables of the owner.

·       If an element is found, the "finder" follow the instructions in the Bungeetag and sends a text message to the Bungee.

·       Bungee then comes into contact with the owner via text message and e-mail and bridges of an anonymous conversation between the two parties to arrange a safe return of lost items.

"The service is simple and affordable and makes little sense for daily consumption, but it is also very important in B2B applications," said AJ Bontempo, co-founder of the Bungee. "We also designed the technology as a white label system.  Trying to reduce the cost of the lost item claims of insurance companies, corporations seeking to improve loss prevention strategies, OEM looking to add that an additional layer of service, safety and many others will benefit from Bungee."

The service is available to consumers through its Web site.  Each package includes 11 Bungeetags to protect valuables. The availability of service includes - 1 year of coverage, $10, or coverage of lifelong, $25.  Both plans include unlimited recoveries and the plan's coverage of life includes free Bungeetags every 2 years for new things.
