JSplash applications launched pace Pad 4.0 for iOS devices. It now comes with the recording, the ability to rearrange the pad positions and send MIDI.
New in version 4.0:
• Recording function - added ability to record their patterns and share their recordings.
• AudioCopy - allows the user to take samples that are posted on the pad in rhythm with other audio applications.
• MIDI support - MIDI send via WiFi or Camera Connection Kit allowing beat Pad to be used as a MIDI controller. While sending MIDI signals, battery is assigned based on the General MIDI standard.
• Added ability to reorganize the pads.
• Improved drum kits.
The following features were already present:
• Open and closed Charleston realistic.
• "Smart levels": pads sound to you in the Center.
• Design optimized for maximum playability on iOS devices.
• High quality stereo sampled sounds with maximum polyphony which gives a realistic feel.
• Ability to set the levels for the individual pads.
