NTI Announces Advanced Quad screen splitter with & KVM switch video in real time



Network Technologies Inc (NTI) announces the addition of SPLITMUX ® DVI/VGA Advanced Quad screen splitter with built-in KVM Switch and real-time video to its popular line of video products. The unit allows four computers display video at the same time on a monitor and can switch one of four computers connected to a shared keyboard and mouse to operate and four additional USB devices.

The SPLITMUX-DVI-4RT accepts both analog and digital signals at the same time, supports video resolutions 1900 x 1200 and is HDCP compliant. The views available include: Quad, Picture in Picture (PiP), full screen, Dual, Fade through Black and ways to win. Audio can be switched regardless of HDMI sources connected to the DVI-I port using an HDMI cable DVI-D. The unit features real-time video performance, fluid with 60 frames per second on all four sides when in Quad mode. The screen can be rotated at different angles of 0°, 90°, 180° and 270°.


The Quad screen splitter Advanced comes with a USB 2.0 hub, 4 ports and supports USB touch screen monitors. All connected USB devices can be switched between attached computers. Composite video devices BNC/RCA, as a security camera can be connected to the unit using the optional CNVTR-BNCSV-VGA BNC to VGA Converter. Control the splitter via the front panel interface, keyboard/mouse commands, on the screen (OSD), or RS232. It supports KVM over IP Extenders to control the Quad screen splitter remotely in the quad mode or PiP.


The SPLITMUX-DVI-4RT can be cascaded to display up to 16 video sources of video on a single screen. A master/slave configuration is used for this setting — a master splitter connects the four slave dividers, with each slave divider connecting the four DVI video sources. Each unit connected need to be in Quad mode to display 16 video sources on a single monitor. The views of slaves and masters can be individually set, combined and exchanged when cascading multiple units, allowing a wide variety of settings.
