Consider Buying a 30Gb MP3 Player
If you’ve ever taken a look at those 30gb MP3 Player advertisements and wondered why anyone would ever want to purchase one that could hold that much music, you might be surprised by the number of benefits involved. Below are some ideas to help you understand why bigger can be better when it comes to portable mp3 players.
Versatility & Capacity
One of the biggest assets of a 30gb MP3 Player is that you can hold a lot of content. With that much space, you could easily hold more than 7,000 songs.
However, a large capacity hard drive has another advantage: it can hold more than just music. For example, you could load your hard drive with photos from your last vacation so you look back at the trip yourself or share it with others.
You can also download music videos, full music, television episodes, and more. All of this digital entertainment can be yours at the press of your fingertip. And don’t forget that a larger hard drive is also going to hold more of the video games that are being designed for the portable mp3 player market.
No Need for More Memory
Many of the smaller players allow you to expand your memory by adding flash memory cards. Keep in mind that those extra memory cards are going to cost you.
With a 30gb MP3 Player, you’re not going to need any additional memory. If you do, you could always upgrade to one of the even larger hard drive models.
At the end of the day, you have to ask yourself whether you’d prefer to have more memory than you need or if you’d want to worry about having to add more memory down the road.
Portability
One of the complaints some people have about 30gb MP3 Player is their larger size. Because of the hard drive, they do need to be a bit bigger but most people would not complain about their portability, especially when compared to the behemoths we once considered portable.
And they are getting smaller with each new generation so eventually the size difference between a 30gb MP3 Player and a smaller one will be insignificant. However, if you are going to be using your player while exercising or similar active pursuits, consider purchasing one of the smaller models that are designed more for that purpose.
The RCA mp3 player Jet or iPod Shuffle mp3 are both good choices. You can always save your 30gb MP3 Player for other on-the-go purposes.
Price
While a 30gb MP3 Player does cost more than the smaller units, you have to consider what you are getting for the money. A 2GB or a 4 GB model can cost about $100 but most of these size units run around $200 to $300 which means you’re getting ten times the storage capacity for only double or triple the price. That’s a good value.
