The Noise Beneath the Apple® Celebrates One Year Anniversary With an Indie Music Giveaway

The Noise Beneath the Apple® is celebrating its one year anniversary by sharing some of the best sounds from the independent music scene by giving away great indie music to its loyal followers. “For a year we have been celebrating some of the best indie music available in New York City and around the world,” said Heather Jacks, author and co-creator of The Noise Beneath the Apple®. “Is there a better way to celebrate our anniversary than giving away some more indie tunes?”

Celebrate the first year of The Noise Beneath the Apple® by filling your iPod or MP3 player with some sweet new music. Best of all, it’s really easy to win. Simply send an email to info@tnbta.com or heather@heatherjacks.com, with your earliest musical memory. It could be your first concert; the first song you remember hearing or even that first piece of vinyl you got for your birthday.

“Whatever that first memory is, write it up and send it on over to us,” Jacks said. “We’ve got some great prizes for the best submissions.”

So what’s up for grabs? Grand prize is a collection of autographed CDs from artists to watch in 2012 hand-picked by the musical experts beneath the apple. The winner will also get a custom Simon Hyun hand-painted The Noise Beneath the Apple® t-shirt that will be the envy of every indie music fan.

The second place winner will receive a frame-ready piece of art of New York City by DP Bryan Close of The Light Dynamic.

Meanwhile, five third place winners will enjoy a digital gift via download of one of The Noise Beneath the Apple® featured musicians.

“We are so excited about our one year anniversary and giving some great gifts to our faithful listeners and readers,” Jacks said. “We look forward to many more years of bringing great independent music to indie fans all over the world.”
